The Brooklyn Film & Arts
Festival in partnership with St. Francis College will present the 2016
Brooklyn Non-Fiction Prize finale on Tuesday, December 20th, 2016 at St.
Francis College.
More than a dozen Brooklyn essayists who are competitors for the 2016 Brooklyn Non-Fiction Prize will vie for the $500 annual writing award. These Brooklyn writers will read from their very real and personal stories about their own Brooklyn experiences in an event titled, “Brooklyn, New York, The Way of this World.”

Professor Ian Maloney of St. Francis
College's English Department will open the program with a presentation discussing some unique characteristics of Brooklyn-literature.
